Microdermabrasion is a process where a precision hand instrument is used to direct a stream of fine natural corundum crystals exactly where needed on your face which will exfiliate about 30% of the top layer of your skin.

The Bella BD II-ASP unit is absolutely the finest Microdermabrasion machine in use today and one of the very few machines registered with the FDA. Bella products invented their own machine, owns the patents and does not license any part of the machine to other companies. After months of research, Sophia's Salon determined that the quality of the machine will determine the quality of your treatments.

For best results, a series of treatments is recommended. A single treatment will last approximately 45 minutes. After the treatment you will feel a sensation similar to a sunburn or windburn. You will be given a very special healing cream to take home with you. Regular facials will enhance your treatments to give your face the optimum appearance you desire.

Update May 2008 - I just came back from my 7th Micro-dermabrasion session with Sophia and still can't believe the improvement with each session. I've been raised in the San Diego sun all my life and had extensive sun damage along with some deep lines around my mouth. In case you're wondering......I'm 51. I finally had enough and started the micro-dermabrasion treatments. I thought anything would be an improvement. I never dreamed I would see results like I have.
